Upon meeting in college, both Jenna and RR felt something special right away. He was that guy that everybody wanted to be around. She was that girl that could entice anyone with her smile. When their paths crossed, the chemistry couldn’t be denied. From being college classmates, love blossomed into something strong, intimate, and exceptional.
The Proposal
In 2016, RR was more than ready to pop the question. Jenna felt that the time has come, too. While overlooking the whole of Cebu and the city as their sole witness, Jenna finally said “YES!” to a romantic (and confident!) RR. We’ve seen and read engagement stories everywhere, but when it’s finally your time, there are no words to describe the giddy feeling. For sure, the couple found the whole experience to be magical and out-of-this-world.
The Theme
Cherry blossoms are the perfect symbols of the beauty and fragility of love. It’s also a romantic choice for a wedding theme. From mystical backdrops to pretty bouquets, you can incorporate so many dreamy ideas to celebrate your union. Our couple believed so.
“The theme of our wedding is Modern Cherry Blossoms because we’ve always dreamed to go to Japan and witness the Cherry Blossom Season,” the couple shared.
The Unforgettable Moment
For the couple, every step of the way was part of an unforgettable journey towards a fulfilled life together. They personally picked the suppliers and made sure that everything was in place and within their budget, of course.
“We didn’t want to miss anything,” Jenna shared. Their commitment to the planning process was definitely evident.
The Wedding and Reception
On November 9, 2019, the couple said their “ I Do’s” in front of families and friends at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Cubao. Jenna looked stunning and immaculate in her detailed off-shoulder gown. RR, on the other hand, was the handsome gentleman in his beige suit.
A reception followed at Novotel Araneta. Jenna and RR were incredibly lucky to have their caterer Juan Carlo on their side since he took care of all the details from the wedding theme to the reception. The whole celebration was flawless that the couple didn’t have to worry about a single thing anymore!
