Krystle and Jhay have witnessed more than their fair share of weddings and engagement parties. As both are wedding suppliers, it was only a matter of time before they crossed paths. Here they share the road that led them to their nature-inspired photoshoot back-to-back with an edgy urban Baguio engagement shoot.

A Chance Encounter
As serendipity would have it, both of their teams had the opportunity to work together at a wedding in San Pedro. Jhay wasn’t there, though. Krystle’s name came up on a social media platform’s “suggested friend’s list” after Jhay’s best friend adder her. He sent her a friend request that she automatically accepted, and that’s where their story started.
A Magical Meeting
The couple formally met when Jhay asked Krystle out for lunch, and we dare say it was indeed love at first sight.
“The first time we saw each other, it felt like magic,” the couple quipped. Krystle and Jhay are incredibly blessed to have found the right person in each other.
A Perfect Proposal
Krystle and Jhay jokingly shared how the proposal actually happened inside a car! Yes, it was nothing extravagant. It did not happen inside an expensive restaurant. There was no fancy champagne. But for the couple, the moment was perfect. After all, no matter how you do it, a proposal will be memorable when it’s with the one you’ve been waiting for all your life.
“It was just perfect when I gave her the ring. It was one of the happiest moments of our lives. Magic, it was magic indeed.” Jhay shared.
A Free-Spirited Theme
For the engagement shoot that followed, Krystle and Jhay decided to do something that described them and showcased their personalities the most, resulting in two sets of dreamy and vibrant Baguio engagement shoots.
Looking ethereal in her light grey gown and flowing long dress, Krystle was the flawless epitome of calmness and subtlety. Jhay looked the dapper gentleman that he is in crisp shirts and smart pants. Set against Camp John Hay’s country club ambiance, the engagement shoot was both elegant and relaxed – perfectly emulating the couple’s dispositions.
Aside from the pine trees and foggy mountains, when you think of Baguio, the bustling streets also come into mind. Krystle and Jhay did a photography theme in the streets of the summer capital of the Philippines.
Donning trendy streetwear, the couple took random poses while taking walks along cafes, bazaars, and grocery stores. The sidewalks were the picture-perfect locations. The whole street shoot exuded so much character, just like our couple!
Despite the picturesque trees and mountains, or the busy scenario on the streets of Baguio, your eyes will still turn to the devoted couple and the love that radiates from them.
